This Lola is made of a red mid range clay that was electric fired. The blue glaze breaks and is wiped back to show the beauty of the raw clay and lightly embossed birds in the layers of breezy blue colors. The waves create a feel of movement and wind moving around her.
Winter Breeze
Lola and Bruce are easy to hang. They come with a cable firmly attached and can be hung with a nail. They are relatively light weighing approximately 3-6 pounds. The surfaces are generally glazed but may have some exposed clay. They have been fired to a vetrification temerature and are water tight. They could be submerged for cleaning or simply wiped with a damp cloth or glass cleaner.
